1 : 1当犹大王约坦，亚哈斯，希西家在位的时候，摩利沙人弥迦得耶和华的默示，论撒玛利亚和耶路撒冷。
The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
1 : 2万民哪，你们都要听。地和其上所有的，也都要侧耳而听。主耶和华从他的圣殿，要见证你们的不是。
Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
1 : 3看哪，耶和华出了他的居所，降临步行地的高处。
For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
1 : 4众山在他以下必消化，诸谷必崩裂，如蜡化在火中，如水冲下山坡。
And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
1 : 5这都因雅各的罪过，以色列家的罪恶。雅各的罪过在哪里呢？岂不是在撒玛利亚吗？犹大的丘坛在哪里呢？岂不是在耶路撒冷吗？
For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
1 : 6所以，我必使撒玛利亚变为田野的乱堆，又作为种葡萄之处。也必将她的石头倒在谷中，露出根基来。
Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
1 : 7她一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎，她所得的财物必被火烧，所有的偶像我必毁灭。因为是从妓女雇价所聚来的，后必归为妓女的雇价。
And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
1 : 8先知说，因此我必大声哀号，赤脚露体而行。又要呼号如野狗，哀鸣如鸵鸟。
Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
1 : 9因为撒玛利亚的伤痕无法医治，延及犹大和耶路撒冷我民的城门。
For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
1 : 10不要在迦特报告这事，总不要哭泣。我在伯亚弗拉滚于灰尘之中。
Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
