Remember in the previous lesson we have seen that the particle 了 ‹ le › placed at the end of a sentence could be used to form the present progressive but also to indicate the past.
Giving your opinion in Chinese is relatively easy with 觉得 ‹ juéde ›. Indeed the sentence structure is the same than in English.
刚才 ‹ gāngcái › can be translated into English as "just now" or "come to (do sth)" and is generally before a verb. It is accompanied by the past marker 了 ‹ le ›.
- 大卫,你怎么了,脸色怎么不好? ‹ Dàwèi, nǐ zěnmele, liǎnsè zěnme bù hǎo? ›
- 我不舒服。我病了。 好像发烧了。 ‹ Wǒ bú shūfú. Wǒ bìng le. Hǎoxiàng fāshāo le. ›
